Miscarriages

1. What are the first signs of miscarriages?
Signs and symptoms may not all be the same for every woman, but some of the most obvious signs are severe cramping and vaginal bleeding.

2. Can I prevent miscarriages?
Technically speaking, if there are chromosomal or genetic issues to start, you won't be able to prevent miscarriages. You can, however, be sure to do check-ups with your doctor and to stay healthy during the pregnancy. It is also imperative to stay as healthy as possible before getting pregnant to reduce the risks of complications of pregnancy.

3. When can I try again after a miscarriage?
You can try whenever you are ready. Most women return to ovulating regularly during the first cycle after a miscarriage and might even increase their chances of getting pregnant within the first three months. However, feelings of distress and uncertainty are also incredibly normal immediately following a miscarriage, so it's also important to feel like you're ready again before you begin to prepare.

4. Why do miscarriages happen?
It may be due to several reasons. Most miscarriages happen due to chromosomal or genetic abnormalities that are beyond our control and knowledge. Other health issues can also be an underlying factor that we might not be aware of, for example, obesity, genetic diseases, lifestyle factors, stress, etc.

5. Can sex cause miscarriages?
Some myths about exercise, sex, and stress may cause miscarriages, but that is not the case. Most of them happen beyond our control and should not be blamed for it. You should always consult your doctor or physician if you have concerns about safe practices.
